Academie Internationale d'Heraldique

The International Academy Of Heraldy (Academie Internationale d'Heraldique) was founded in 1949, in order to group specialists in heraldry from around the world. It is comprised of both active and associate members. The number of the former is not restricted, but the number of the active members, known as "academicians", is limited to 75. The Academy holds the International Heraldic Colloquium.
