He is a patron of sailors, who use the clouds to navigate and predict weather.\nAlternative: Ao Toto ("blood red dawn")\n----\nIn the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms campaign setting, Ao is the Overgod who rules over all other deities. He is most well known for casting down other deities in a cataclysmic event known as the Time of Troubles.
