Avesta, Sweden

Avesta is a Municipality in Dalarna County, in central Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 615.0 km². Of the total population of 22,735, 11,179 are male, and 11,196 are female. The population density of the community is 36 inhabitants per km². Note: Not to be confused with the municipality of Alvesta.
