Band

The word band has several meanings:\n*In radio, a band is a section of radio spectrum.\n*A band is a strip of material in a loop, used for binding, such as a rubber band.\n*A band is a group of musicians playing parts of a musical arrangement on different musical instruments. See musical band.\n*A band can be a "broad" line or curve.\n*In a similar sense, a band can also refer to a group of people who are bound together by a common cause, especially if it is one not officially sanctioned by authority.\nEg.
