Black family

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black is a fictional family in the Harry Potter books. This pureblood family was highly devoted to the Dark Arts, and produced many Dark Wizards.\nThe Black family home is Grimmauld Place, which contains many artefacts of dubious origin; there is also a family tree, now highly incomplete.\nThe reason for the incompleteness that whenever the family produced anyone half-way decent, he or she was disowned.\nThis is what happened to Andromeda Black, who married Ted Tonks, and Sirius Black.\nWhen Sirius was killed, the Black family line ended.\nThe house-elf Kreacher was devoted to the Black family. \n\n
