Dragon RougeDragon Rouge, or Ordo Draconis et Atri Adamantis, is a Left-Hand Path black magic society with its base in Stockholm, Sweden, founded by Thomas Karlsson. They have five lodges; three in Sweden, one in Italy and yet another in Germany. They collect and use magical theories from all around the world, but they mostly concentrate on European magic. Their magical work is somewhat directed towards the Tree of Life (Sephiroth) and the Tree of Death (Qliphoth). Dragon Rouge makes much use of old French grimoires, and the order itself bears the same name as the grimoire Le Dragon Rouge, or "the red dragon". They reject all monotheistic religions, such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Instead, they focus on the rebellious mind that seeks to become God by the annihilation of the individual. Dragon Rouge is feministic and strongly believes in Lilith, which according to their belief is the first of Adam's wives. The order explores kabbalism, goetic magic, Odinistic rune magic alchemy and tantrism. Members also read old Norse mysticism and texts by Aleister Crowley, Friedrich Nietzsche and Herakleitos, among others. Many people familiar with, or members of, Dragon Rouge think the order owes much of its remarkable popularity (by the standards of magical orders), and some of its members, to the successful band Therion, whose leader is a leading member of Dragon Rouge and use its ideas in their songs. There are three different circles within Dragon Rouge:
