FORTRAN Assembly Program

FORTRAN Assembly Program (FAP) was a macro assembler for the IBM 704, 709, 7090, and 7094 computers. Its pseudo-operation BSS, used to reserve memory, is the origin of the BSS section still used today for space in memory that is reserved, but does not have to be saved in the executable image.
