General Surgery

General Surgery deals with surgical treatment of abdominal organs, e.g. intestines inclusive esophagus, stomach, colon, liver and furthermore of the thyroid gland and hernia. In the last years minimal invasive surgery became more and more important. See also: Surgery, Abdominal surgery
