GlocalizationGlocalization (formed from globalization and localization) is a neologism to describe the emerging social power of better-connected public citizens, to subtly enforce a counterview to the negative aspects of "globalization," through means of the existing free market. Through better connectivity, the public has the potential to acheive an unprecedented ability to voice its collective will; for coordinating political and social defenses against perceived actions toward their marginalization. These actions include proprietary takeovers of public resources, and the ability of corporations to leverage the labor pools of different regions against each other.
