Gorizia\n\n Gorizia (Slovenian Gorica, German Görz) is a small town (pop. 40,000) at the foot of the Alps, in NE Italy, on the border with Slovenia. It is the capital of Gorizia province, and is a local center of tourism, industry, and commerce.
