Mongoloid

Mongoloid describes the race of humans primarily from Asia. The grouping was one of the four major races as recognized by nineteenth century racial theories. Epicanthal folds and oblique palpable fissures are common among some groups of mongoloid. The most of Mongoloid people have Mongolian spot when they were born. Since people with the disability Down syndrome often have these also, the term is also used for them. The term was once neutral, but is now considered offensive.
