Oh Uganda, Land of Beauty

Oh Uganda, Land of Beauty is the Ugandan national anthem. It was adopted in 1962 with words and music by George Wilberforce Kakoma.

Lyrics

Oh Uganda! may God uphold thee,\n:We lay our future in thy hand.\n:United, free,\n:For liberty\n:Together we'll always stand.
Oh Uganda! the land of freedom.\n:Our love and labour we give,\n:And with neighbours all\n:At our country's call\n:In peace and friendship we'll live.
Oh Uganda! the land that feeds us\n:By sun and fertile soil grown.\n:For our own dear land,\n:We'll always stand,\n:The Pearl of Africa's Crown.\nCategory:National anthems
