Political figure

A political figure is a broad term meaning any person involved with politics. It includes--but is not limited to--the subset of politicians. Other political figures can include non-politicians who are involved in political controversy (e.g. Monica Lewinsky) as well as lobbyists, the heads of interest groups and political parties, and those involved in running political campaigns.
