Quilmes

Quilmes is a city in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the capital of Quilmes Partido (Partido de Quilmes). It is located 16 kilometers away from the capital city of Argentina, the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. The Partido de Quilmes contains various cities such as Quilmes (city), Bernal, Ezpeleta, Solano and others.\nDuring the colony, the english arrived at America through Quilmes and from there they went to Buenos Aires. Quilmes is the home of two fine football teams: Quilmes Atlético Club and Club Atlético Argentino de Quilmes. The first one was founded in the XIX century by the english and the second one was founded, later on, by the argentinians that were not allowed to play in the QAC. They are two of the oldest argentinian football teams. \n
