Rhetorical question

A rhetorical question is a question posed for rhetorical effect rather than for the purpose of getting an answer. Some examples of rhetorical questions in English would be:
"What's the matter with you?"\n:"Don't you know any better?"\n:"Do you have no shame?"\n:"How many times do I have to tell you to stop walking into the house with mud on your shoes?"\n:"Is the Pope Catholic; do fish swim?"\n:"Are you crazy?"\n:"Who cares?"\n:"How should I know?"
Often rhetorical questions are phrased as questions but written without a question mark. For example: 'What advice can a Catholic priest give on marriage'.
