River Vienne

The Vienne River is a river in France. It rises in the Plateau des Millevaches and reaches the Loire at Candes-Saint-Martin. Its length is 372 km. The river gave its name to the départements of Vienne and Haute-Vienne.

Cities along the river include Limoges, Chatellerault and Chinon. The City of Vienne, however, is not situated on the Vienne River.
