Romford railway stationRomford station is located in Romford, London and is between Chadwell Heath and Gidea Park. It is the western terminus of a branch from Upminster, with the next station being Emerson Park the next station along. The current station is made up of two once-separate stations on opposite sides of South Street. The oldest part of the station (current platforms 2–5) was opened by the Eastern Counties Railway in 1839. The London Tilbury & Southend Railway station (current platform 1) was opened in 1892. The two stations are now joined by a footbridge. All train services are currently operated by one. It is in Zone 6.
