\nSalix - the willows\n|} \nThe Salicaceae are a family of trees, containing only two genera, Salix and Populus. Members include willow, poplar, aspen, and cottonwood. In the Cronquist system they are given their own order, Salicales, but in newer systems are included among the Malpighiales. \n\n\n
