San Juan Province

San Juan is a province of Argentina, located in the west of the country. The capital is San Juan. The province has a population of 620,023 (2001), and covers an area of 89,651 km². Neighboring provinces are from the north clockwise La Rioja, San Luis and Mendoza. To the west is Chile. The province is divided in 19 departments (spanish departamentos). Department (Capital)
