SauropodomorphaSauropodomorpha is a suborder of Saurischia, or lizard-hipped dinosaurs. It includes the infraorders Prosauropoda and Sauropoda. Sauropodomorpha was a predominant suborder throughout the Triassic and Jurassic periods, but declined in the Cretaceous period with the increase in Ornithischian dinosaurs (i.e. Iguanodonts and Ankylosaurs).\n |
