SFOR

The Stabilisation Force (SFOR) is a NATO-led multinational force in Bosnia and Herzegovina which under the code name Operation Joint Guard (December 21, 1996 - June 19, 1998) and Operation Joint Forge (since June 20, 1998) has been tasked to uphold the Dayton Agreement.

It took over from IFOR and is to be replaced by a European Union controlled force during 2004.
