Southern Europe
Southern Europe is a region of
Europe. It is also known as
Mediterranean Europe, after the bordering sea, the
Mediterranean Sea.
It has no precise definition but would generally be taken to consist of:\n

Sometimes, Monaco is also included in Southern Europe since it is located on the Cote d'Azur or the French Riviera on the Mediterranean Sea.
