Square megametre

Square megametre (symbol Mm2) is an SI unit of surface area. It is one of the SI derived units. 1 Mm2 is equal to: \n* the area of a square measuring 1 megametre on each side\n* 1 000 000 000 000 m2\n* 100 000 000 hectares\n* 1 000 000 km2 Square megametres are not widely used; however, there are a number of "megametre fans" who think that this unit is very convenient for measuring oceans and continents.
