• In Polynesian mythology (Samoa), Tutu was the first man to live on Tutuila.\n*In New Zealand botany, the name tutu refers to a poisonous berry-bearing shrub (Coriaria arborea).\n*A tutu is also a type of frilly skirt often worn as dancewear in traditional ballet.\n*In Sumerian, Assyrian and Babylonian mythology Tutu was one of the Anunnaku.\n*In Hawaii, Tutu means 'grandmother', and is used for any respected, older woman. More informal than Kahuna.
