Uninstaller

A utility program to remove another application program from a \ncomputer's disks.

Most commonly found on IBM PCs, as applications tend to leave files in \nvarious places on the hard disc, so special software is required to tidy \nup after them.

\n

Ken Spreitzer, wrote the original PC program called \n"UnInstaller", first licensed to MicroHelp and now (Feb 1998) sold by CyberMedia.

A good example of a modern uninstaller is Advanced Uninstaller Pro \n
