United Negro College FundUnited Negro College Fund, headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia is an American philanthropic organization with the mission of raising college tuition money for African-American students and as well as general scholarship funds for historically African-American colleges and universities. The UNCF was incorporated in 1944. Their motto, since 1972, is, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." See also Negro.
